Entry and Airlock
The cube behind your exterior door: a second gas-tight door makes it an airlock, with a bench, gear racks, a grated mud floor and status lights.
- A true airlock. two gas-tight doors with the overpressure gauge in between, so outside air never reaches the living space
- Mud stays here. a grated floor over a drain pan catches water, mud and dust at the door
- Gear by the door. boots, coats, packs and long guns all have a welded place

About 8 ft 10 in square inside the finished walls. Entry from the next cube at the bottom; the yellow bar is the second portal, capped for a future cube.
What is included
- Inner gas-tight door: Steel door, frame and double gaskets at the inner portal; frame welded before blast
- Boot bench: Welded bench with boot storage underneath
- Gear and gun rack: Welded hooks, pack rack and a long-gun rack
- Clip rail and wall studs: Unistrut-type rail and studs for the bench and racks, welded flat to the plate before blast
- Grated mud floor: Removable steel grating over a stainless drain pan with a hand-pumped sump
- Airlock status: Overpressure gauge and airlock status lights, tied to the air system
- Entry lighting: Bright LED on a motion sensor
- Key safe and comms shelf: Key safe, document and radio shelf by the inner door
How it is built
Built in our shop, inside the cube: welded frames, walls, wiring, lighting and cabinets, then every circuit is tested. On site, your installer plugs the power and air together at the cube joint and checks every circuit.

Where a fixture is also listed in your Plumbing or Waste system, it is charged once; your written quote confirms it. Package prices are preliminary, November 2026, and confirmed in writing after the site visit.
